Sunday Girls
a group for
girls and non-binary kids
to vent, laugh, plan
& bond

Sunday Girls is (not only a tribute to Blondie but) a social support group for girls and non-binary kids in 6th-8th grades. Our meetings will focus on building confidence and emotional resilience by allowing time to talk and learn in a structured, non- judgmental space- without the distraction of the internet! The group is recommended for sensitive kids who are respectful with peers and are ready to participate.
We talk about what's going on in their world and investigate different ways to deal with it. On any given Sunday we might listen to music, draw, play games -just hang out while embracing differences and questioning assumptions. In structured discussions, kids will collaborate by sharing what works for them when they're feeling stressed and asking the group (and therapist) for help with their challenges.

A short intake questionnaire is required to assess whether the group is a good fit for your tween. We are limited in size due to space.
Our next group will start February 23 and meet Sundays at 5:00- 6:15 PM.
